Playoff Update - July 7th

#4 Fighting Orangutans vs #1 Twin City Arrows
Orangutans win best-of-3 series tied 2-1

In what can only be described as a goalie duel for the ages Josh Udall of the Orangutans and Nate Jollymore from the Arrows turned aside shot after shot, making some incredible saves to keep their team in the game.
  
Nile Cyr of the Twin City Arrows scored with 10 seconds left in the 2^nd period to tie the game and the teams traded chances throughout the 3^rd period, but Jody Gorman scored the game-winning goal for the Orangutans with 14:41 left in the third who held on for a 5-4 win, and a 2-1 series win over the #1 seed Twin City Arrows.
  
Jody Gorman (2), Bryce Mayea (2) and Jesse Magarvey scored for the Orangutans, who trailed 3-2 after the 1^st period, but outscored the Arrows 3-1 over the final two periods.
  
Will Holmes, Jamie Dunbar, Nile Cyr and David Rossiter scored for the Arrows.
  
Both the #1 seed Arrows and the #2 Pool Sharks were eliminated in the 1^st round, leaving #3 Halifax Hustle and #4 Fighting Orangutans to battle for the NSSLL Finck Cup, The best-of-5 final starts on Tuesday, July 12^th at 8:00pm at RBC Centre.
