Hustle Win Game 2. Series Tied 1-1

The Halifax Hustle seem to have multiple players who can step up in  big game situations, and on Thursday night it was Connor Aquanno who exploded for 7 goals and 2 assists to lead the Hustle to a 17-14 win.

After a low-scoring goalie duel in game 1 the shooters showed up in game 2!  It was a back and forth 1st period, with the Orangutans heading into the 2nd period 5-4, but the Hustle exploded for 9 2nd period goals and a 13-10 lead. The teams traded 3rd period goals and the Hustle held on for the victory.

In addition to Connor Aquanno's 9 points Zac Carrigan (3G 5A) had 8 pts and Ian McShane (3G 4A) had 7pts.  Alex Taylor (2), Tom Hunt, and Luke Wilson also scored.

Drew MacDonald had 5 goals for the Orangutans with Jody Gorman (3G 4A) and Mitch Broussard (2G 6A) also having big nights. Bryce Mayea (2), Jasper Goodwin and Jesse Magarvey rounded out the scoring.

With the NSSLL Finals tied at 1 game a piece, Game 3 goes Tuesday night, 8pm at the RBC Centre.
